New Profile Backgrounds
Hey everyone! For those of you who like to customize your profile pages we have some new samples that you can use. Your can customize your profile as quick as you can click - and that means no cut no paste! Just click on the link to "Edit Profile" and then "Profile Settings". Profile Images How To
Some have asked how do they get their profile photo to appear on their home page. So, this is how the system works....
First, if you DID NOT upload a profile image to begin with you will automatically be provided with the default "No Photo Monkey" image.
Now, if you later upload pics to photo albums, and still haven't updated your profile pic, at intervals the system will try to compensate for you by automatically selecting an image from one of your albums to become your profile pic. This only occurs IF you are using the default monkey image as your profile pic AND you have images in photo albums it can use. Keep in mind that the system only selects from what is available at random so it may be an image you like or don't like. You can prevent this simply by uploading a profile photo yourself that YOU like.
You can change your profile pic at any time - or actually get around to uploading one for the first time. It is a totally different area than where you upload to your photo album, but the process is just as easy. Simply click on your Profile[edit] link in the menu bar. On the resulting page you will see a second row of tabs (like folder tabs). Click on the one that says photo and you'll be okay from there. |
